Animal prints have long held a place in the world of style. In the 70s, Yves Saint Laurent adored them. In the 90s, Roberto Cavalli rediscovered them, giving spots and stripes a sensual dimension. Today, they return in grand style – not as extravagant accents, but as fundamental building blocks of interiors. This was evident at the most important design events: Salone del Mobile 2025, Heimtextil, and Maison&Objet. Leopard, tiger, and panther patterns appeared not only on upholstery but also on walls, floors, and even ceilings.

Animal motifs seamlessly complement the current revival of Art Deco aesthetics – a style that combined luxury with ornament, elegance with geometry, and nature-inspired patterns. Spots, often stylized and repetitive, were central to the works of Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann or Jean-Michel Frank. Today, when paired with brass, veneer, marble, or the rounded forms of sofas, they create compositions reminiscent of a modern deco revival – elegant, yet never cold.

On the other hand, eclectic interiors and the Australian earthy style promote bold pairings: florals with wild prints, velvets with linen, rich colors with organic textures. In these spaces, WILD thrives as pillows, poufs, throws, and curtains – bringing a refreshing counterpoint to natural palettes and matte fabrics.

Animal patterns, redefined.

Unlike many animal-print fabrics available on the market, the WILD pattern is not printed but woven. And that makes a huge difference. Not only visually, but functionally too. Produced using jacquard weaving technology with chenille yarns in both warp and weft, it achieves a deep, almost three-dimensional structure. The pattern is woven, not printed, which ensures extraordinary durability and abrasion resistance. Thanks to a stabilizing backing, WILD maintains its dimensional stability and resists stretching, even under heavy use. This makes it an ideal choice for both furniture manufacturers and designers working on commercial spaces.

But technology is only one side of the story. The other is sensuality. Thanks to chenille, WILD is soft to the touch, thick, and stable. It drapes beautifully over upholstered furniture, creating the effect of a luxurious, rich surface.

The collection includes six shades – from creamy and sandy beiges, through warm caramel browns, to deep blacks with graphite or copper accents. These are natural hues that work equally well in safari chic interiors and New York–style modern glam.

From a designer’s perspective, WILD pairs beautifully with smooth velvets, raw leather textures, dark woods, and noble marbles. It can act as a statement piece – on an armchair, headboard, lampshade, or pouf – or as a decorative fabric for curtains or panels in hotel lobbies and boutique offices.
