Pilling and fabric pilling are natural processes that cannot be completely eliminated. The transfer of dyes from fabrics with intense and dark colours to light-coloured fabrics is inevitable. When the fabric is snagged, individual yarns may be pulled out. For technological reasons, differences in colour shades are acceptable.
