17.07.2024 SNAGGING TEST: PROTECTING YOUR FABRICS FROM SNAGGING Each of our fabrics undergoes a test that evaluates its resistance to snagging and fiber breakage caused by contact with animal claws. The snagging test is crucial for ensuring the high quality of materials offered by FABB. The results of this test will help you determine which collections are best suited for rooms where animals will be present. There are several standard methods for conducting the snagging test. We use the rotating chamber method because it is efficient and simulates real-world fabric usage conditions. This method requires special equipment – a test drum with metal pins that simulate contact with sharp objects. The fabric is placed inside the drum, which is then rotated at a specified speed for a set period. The results are classified according to a set scale, allowing for the comparison of the resistance of different fabrics. Interestingly, green and white fabrics are more resistant to snagging, making them particularly pet-friendly! Some of our collections have received the highest rating and are nearly completely resistant to snagging. The Colet, Como, Gandar, Mavel, Nolio, Raven, Vardo, Vito, Vivaldi, Voss, and Yuma collections are the perfect choice for pet lovers. You can be confident that your furniture will be scratch-resistant and will last for many years. Post Views: 61 ZURÜCK ZU ALLEN EINTRÄGEN
